Tamil Nadu Electricity Board - Chennai

I am in kannadapalayam, West Tambaram. The power supply is good. No frequent power cuts. Voltage drop problem is not there. In fact we have a very good TNEB support in our area. Our complaints are taken care of at a very minimum period. Personally all of us in our apartment - 6 blocks, 35 flats have no issue on power supplies.

I am residing in Thundalam, back side of Sree Ramachandra Medical College&Hospital). Here Power cut is regular on daily basis for 1/2 hour and some time 1 hour also. After 1/2 hour it comes automatically. Some times power fluctuation beyond tolerence and only 2 phases are working. Already complained to E.B Vanagaram.

in general service is ok in thiruvanmiyur,considering the funds constraint under which the technical people are working.the complaint registering system is rather poor and outdated and should be transformed similar to the bsnl complaint system;ie meaning centralised from where the info should be disseminated.ofcourse corruption from top to bottom is rampant.at the same time,my experience of getting back charges erroneously billed have been successful due to frequent follow-up.

No one can get anything done without corrupting a few in TNEB. There is absolutely no focus on the common consumer.
