Mylapore and Royapettah area power service is good

Though after the ADMK came to power 6 years back electricity supply has been generally good with very little power-cuts. However the metering since the new digital meters were fixed in January 2015 has skyrocketed with 40%-60% increase -(grossly inaccurate with TNEB being wantonly indifferent to the situation) in Units Consumption. Added to this the steep increase in Tariff is making things unaffordable and monthly budgets unbridgeable. All this because political parties want to earn votes by giving the farmers and the poor free electricity or even highly subsidized electricity. Are the remaining people not Citizens of this Great Country ?
