Palury Rao. Billing assistants don't apply their mind. In the august month the billing was for 32 days. It is O.k. But when they came for billing for september month , it seems that the meter is out of order, but listing 28 days they billed the same amount as that of August. How they can charge for 28 days as that of 32 days when the meter is out of order. They are supposed to charge pro-rata basis..Important thing is that they don't even inform us that the meter is out of order.
I am paying the electricity bill regularly but some times we may forgot . If you are not paying the bill the electricity people will come and collect the fuse from your meter. There is no intimation to the customer. Funny thing is there is no communication between the fuse remover and the bill collector. It was just a courtesy that inform to the customer before taking the fuse. The electricity people in manikonda were too bad they will just run a mike with a jeep anouncing the warning of the power bill.
Sugestions:
1.It is the responsibility of the customer to do his bill payment some time there might be a mistake because we are humans please inform to the customer before taking fuse.
2.Put some important local contacts near the meters so that people will aware to whom to call.
By and Large The dept. is currently doing well except in cutting the current without prior intimation in Leading Newspapers like Hindu for 4 hours in the morning hours. When contacted over phone they politely tell us the reason. This uninformed cutting of current may be avoided. But the staff are customer friendly.Good service.R.Sethuraman,Madhura Nagar.
