1.Roads and Street Cleaning
Road maintenance and Street Cleaning is very poor.
2.Water Supply
Water supply system is very poor. Some of the areas residents are getting water on the 3rd floor of the house whereas some areas water is getting 3 feet below ground level( In our society i.e. Sukrutinagar, Diwalipura we are getting water 3 feet below ground level since last 25 years).No systematic water supply is there in the Vadodara city. Some residents are taking water directly from the Corporation pipeline because of which in the same area other residents are not getting water. No proper checking is being done.
3. Street Vendor/Hawkers
They are illegally occupying most of the main roadsides in the evening because of which it is very difficult to drive vehicles.
4. Fire Services & Land Use/Building Construction.
Almost all societies main roads of the society are encroached by the residents and residents park their vehicle on the main road. During emergency it is very difficult for the fire tender and ambulance to enter the society. Corporation should identify all the societies where fire tender and ambulance cannot enter during emergency and remove encroachment.
5 Garbage Collection/Garbage Management.
Garbage collection is irregular.
6 Parking Lot Management .
Wherever you in Vadodara City you will not find any space for parking of vehicle. Proper arrangement for parking of vehicle to be done.
7 Roads and Street Cleaning - Very poor.
8 Stray Animal Management . You can find stray animal in almost all roads.
9 Parks and Playgrounds Maintenance is very poor. (Diwalipura garden walking track condition is very poor).

The VMC is slow in action & decision making. The contractors are working as per their wish & their is no one to monitor. The Builders through away the building material anywhere they find place & VMC closes the eye on it. The garbage cleaning service is very poor.

Opposite Rutansh Duplex, Nr Vuda Flats, Opposite Yash Complex, VMC repaired/ replaced Main-hole three times but again it is damaged & needs immediate replacement since sharp iron edge is damaging vehicle's tires. contractor, who has repaired / replaced main-hole has not removed BROKEN MAIN-HOLE CONCRETE PARTS & ARE LYING FOR THE PAST MORE THAN AN YEAR NOW.
Further , theRe is a another Man-hole nearby is also broken & is unattended for the past more than SIX MONTHS.
Wild Bushes are grown & are not cut. Some bushes are grown under Transformer poles & may be dangerous if not cut. Grievances were reported & registered on toll free number. No action so far.

Lots of development is going on in various fronts & area. However, no proper supervision is done. Contractors are allowed to dig trenches but back filling is neither done immediately nor properly once work is done. It remains open for vehicles to get struck in mud. It is a practice to call all such activities in tender but CAN NOT RAISE QUESTION TO VMC STAFF SINCE TENDER TERMS ARE NOT KNOWN TO CITIZENS. It is a main reason for corruption at large.

The road sides are shaped very badly after laying of hume pipe for drain 2 years back.The extra excavated earth are still lying on road side.We have tried lots of time for complaining online but no action has been taken till date.
