Not able to control them. Officers buckle under pressure of political bosses. Rates announced by Municipal Corporation is vehemently over ruled by the ghat people (fire wood sellers). Only electric cremation facility available is being run by an NGO but proper security to their staff is not provided by concerned department. It needs modernisation for more efficient performance. Also a proper system to dispose off ashes is needed.
