Vijayawada Municipal Corporation

The Municipal Corporation should concentrate on two issues very seriously as the city is in a rapid developing stage. The first issue is catching and throwing away the street dogs in maximum locations like Rama varappadu, Machavaram, Bank Colony, Krishna Lanka etc. where the children and elders are feeling afraid to move on the roads in the morning / night. The second issue is cleaning of road side small canals in colony streets like Ashok nagar (old 5 number road), bank colony road, gandhi nagar, seetha ram puram etc.
Please take it serious and these two issues are major when compared with any other issues. Take necessary action immediately and urgently.

I did not find any public toilets in the city and many people relieve themselves in open. The condition of toilets in Vijayawada Bus Stand and Vijayawada Railway Station are not good. The Municipal Corporation should build public toilets and hand over to sulabh for maintenance and user charges may be collected.
