Vijayawada Police

Some more and most better than previous year to now.

The Police Department must understand that their salaries, perks, etc. are paid from tax payers money. Hence, they must implement traffic rules without favour and fear. I do not know whether citizens of Vijayawada are exempted from Motor Vehicles Act. I find lot of people use mobiles while driving two wheelers, four wheelers, city buses etc. freely and the traffic cops see the other way. Wrong way driving is common. Foot paths are encroached by small vendors and pedestrians walk on road. Service autos can be called animal transport vehicles since people are virtually hanging. Once upon a time Vijayawada Police are very strict and not tolerated traffic violations. Now it is reverse. They are very prompt in stopping traffic for smooth movement of VVIPs only and not bothered about common man. One more is ambulances will not get way and the police are mute spectators and the victims are common man. Will it be possible for the top police brass to look into the matter and correct the situation?
