Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation

I strongly feel that I will consider that the roads are cleaned only when the tons of soil lying in the middle and sides of the roads are removed and reduced air pollution. Though I have seen a mechanical vehicle for removing soil around five years back, I have not seen it working since past three years any where.
The main reason for so much soil on the roads is due to failure on the part of municipality that it digs roads but the soil removed as put on the roads are not at all cleaned as well as giving permission for dumping construction material for building structures by land owners during the period of entire construction which spreads along the roads and filled on the road

I am resident and owner of of house no. 9-14-10 in street no.14 of C.B.M. Compound ,which is a dead end road of about 250 feet length. There are two sweepers to clean the roads of our locality. They are not allowed to work daily on our roads but frequently shifted to other areas by the superwisers with or without permission from the concerned sanitory inspector. For example they clean my road of 250 feet length about 2 or 3 days a week. No improvement even after so many complaints.Rate very poor indeed.

Past few incidents are example for the Municipal corporation duties.

Many drains are uncovered causing health and life risk. Frequent digging of roads with no proper planning causing untold suffering to the citizens many areas garbage is piling up.
