Visakhapatnam Police

I agree, with these views.

Why are we rating the police. Please rate the politicians and bureaucrats under whom these people are, unless these people change their attitude and stop interfering in the affairs of police police will not change.

The traffic rules in Visakhapatnam is not upto the mark due to which causing risky for pedestrians at the walking point, riding two wheelers, four wheelers etc. on the road.
Issues for Risk to the public
1. Most of the people riding two wheelers, four wheelers by keeping ear phone on their ears and continuously hearing as per their interest, attending phone calls for longer time and driving causing carelessness.
2. People overtaking from right and immediately taking left turn without observing running vehicle at their left.
3. People overtaking from left, if right is not available to pass.
4. At the cross roads, people are jamming the whole road to wait their turn for green signal without leaving a space for extreme left for U turn.

Traffic Police required to check the above possibilities and try to stop unhealthy practice.

Unless Public transport like BRTS, Metro lines are laid down controlling the traffic is very difficult. Autos should be stopped to block city bus stops and they are stopping as they please (of course citizens should learn where to stop and enter or get down from the autos). Lane discipline should be maintained strictly between cars/vans and Buses on the present National Highways. Autos and other two wheelers should use only service roads. Wrong side driving should be strictly prohibited, which is causing most accidents. Even police staff should not be allowed. Parking on the roads should be prohibited. Separate Parking lots should be constructed for that purpose. Police staff are not sufficient to control general traffice due to the politicians visits (Most of them are engaged in providing security for their travel).
