Was forced to open salary account in this bank. Quit the job after 1 month and returned to native place where they do not have branch. When branch did open locally, they refused to transfer the account to local branch. Continued for 4 years like this. Statement delivered have several mistakes. FD details & certificates for IT returns are not available even on website. Website is very user unfriendly. Incentives on shopping on other websites like NETMEDS are not received and you have to chase it down for months together.
Finally, in May, 2019, they started calling offering lifetime free credit card. Even though I rejected it and explained in detail why I do not need it, they kept calling every week. All the calls are from unknown persons with different accents and different phone numbers. There is no way you can verify whether it is genuine. In the 7th call, one Bihari accent fellow got angry when I politely rejected and he said in Hindi "What is your problem when we are offering it for free? Why don't you take it?". I am from AP and all these callers talk in Hindi despite knowing where I am from. I blasted the fellow back in Hindi.
I repeatedly asked them to strike my number off their list and not to call me anymore. I received a total of 12 calls in 8 weeks when I finally got fed up and closed the account. Even after that, 1 week later, I received another call.
Considering this behaviour and the fact that the bank seems to have used account holder and depositor's money as the promoter's piggy bank investing in dubious and about to be bankrupt companies like ADAG, ESSAR, DHFL and now CG POWER, this is officially the worst run private bank in India.
