Yesvantpur Junction (YPR)

No escalators, no lifts. Display system is bad. coach positions of departing trains not displayed.

Platforms are just about ok with some litters around. But the tracks are dirty and nauseating with human facial matters. its dirtiest ever station I seen in south India.

STRAY dogs disturbing passengers in this station

YPR is as important station as SBC because of large number of trains originating from there. A lot needs to be improved to make it a better platform.

1. Most of the time trains are diverted to middle platforms from where people have to struggle to carry their luggage or pay unreasonably hefty charges to porters.
2. Not check on porters asking even 400-500 Rs to carry 2-3 suitcases in case they see a old couple/ladies who can't carry their luggage themselves in any case.
3. No facility of lift as on some other stations.
4. No proper announcement of incoming trains indicating on which platform they are coming (I guess again to help porters to make money because of last minute rush). In many cases announcement / display are not made even till the time train had already arrived at the platform. Asking inquiry doesn't help either.
5. Unfriendly parking lot staff, unwilling to give proper receipts.

Lot of improvement expected
