The white goods, Appliances & Audio Video Products Manufactured & Marketed By korean companies Like LG, samsung Should Be Boycott strongly Due To Poor @uality of Products & Services As once A Consumer Buys A Product & walks out From Retail Outlet After Paying the so called korean Companies which Are Least Bothered About Customers who Has Paid them From His / Her Hard Earned Money And Made a Investment in Their product & Trusted Their Brand in Good Faith. After Invoicing & Collecting the Money The Dealers / Retailers Even Do Not Bother and simply Wash their Hands By Saying the Warranty / Guarantee is to Be Honoured By The Company And Not by Them Being A Reseller / Authorised Retailer And To The Max They Can Forward the Complaint To Company's Service centre And Beyond That A Consumer May go To Hell. The Quality of Korean products is worst And No Longer The Longevity of Product Stands Lets Say If A Consumer Buys A LED TV Set For Rs. 1.09 Lakhs OR A Refigerator For Rs. 55000 -60,000 and After 3-4 Years it goes for A toss . And By The Time The Warranty / Guarantee which is Normally for 1-2 years Max Expires And Consumer Makes a complaint to Respective Service centres Either they Ask For Hefty Repair Bills which is Not worth And sometimes also Bluntly Says it is Irrepairable Due to Non Availablity of spare parts OR The Company Has Discontinued The Model / Technology. Now The Consumer Stands No where. Its Very easy to say To file Complaint with Consumer courts as per Jurisdiction But The Consumer Courts are Already Burdened With Lakhs of Cases pending Before Consumer Forums in India. As the Indian Judiciary is already Burdened with cases pending Due To Various Socio Economic & Other Reasons . The Consumer Protection Act Should also Be Amended as The Dynamics of Businesses Are Changing with Modern Retail & E Commerce. There is one More Important Aspect to cover if you purchase A product online through Any E Commerce portal Then The Companies Makes The Warranties / Guarantees Null & Void And these Days to wash Their Hands Better The companies are Mentioning in their Sales Contract that if the Retailer Fails to put Stamp OR Signature on the warranty / Guarantee Booklet Then also the Warranty / Guarantee Becomes Null & Void . So These Days there are Many New & Innovative methods to cheat & Take consumers For A Ride After concluding sales of A product & scratching His / Her Deep Pocket.

All manufacturers whether Indian or Foreign like LG & Samsung are following the prevailing practices in our country. Sales Channels are no where in the picture after the purchase by a buyer. Unfortunately, non-professional approach exists in our country because poor compliance with the law. Customer in our country is meant only for paying and is not supposed to avail the services or can not ensure a quality product. Dependability is just because of poor environment. Take the case of any services in the country whether Government Organisation or a Private Company, one as a customer/consumer is not sure whether the due services would be avaialbe. more
