TRAI brought in regulations on selection of TV channels based on viewer choice. Broadcasters had to price their channels or bouquets. Claims were made that the cost would go down to subscriber. But the contrary has happened. The maximum price of Rs 19 per channel is a big mistake and should be reduced drastically.
How is the billing done in case of cable operators? I am a DEN subscriber through a cable operator. Neither he nor DEN is giving me a bill. If there is no bill, is GST collected is being paid to the government? Government should seriously look into it immediately.
DEN and others like Hathway should give bills on line through e mail IDs/mobile messages or physical bills if the subscriber does not have one.
What happens when channel prices or bouquet prices are changed? No information in DEN web site.
