Hi Consumer Complaint Centre,
I am writing about the Bus Booking from Manali to Delhi, for traveling on December 29th, 2018. The same booking was confirmed under booking Reference number - 3010897343402, and Bus PNR - 7808181979135 dated October 30th, 2018, two months prior to traveling. I had confirmation on same and called to Bus Operator for confirmation, it was confirmed by Bus Operator.
When I called the operator on the day of travel after getting a message from Yatra at 12 PM, per them no booking was made or approached by Yatra. Now, when I again contacted Yatra Bus customer care per them booking was already cancelled due to the internal technical error.
Here, I requested them to take care of next booking for us as it was the day of return to Delhi, also, it is still showing active booking at my panel, on email and message from Yatra.com.
They have been keeping the pressure of taking the refund and keep myself suffering in Manali. Even after multiple attempts to get new ticket available, having all fund is with them by paying additional fund they were stuck with a refund only and no ticket confirmation.
Here are a few questions;
1. If the booking was canceled with any technical error prior to the travel date, why I was not informed earlier so that I could make my next reservation?
2. How come bus ticket was canceled on the day of travel with a 100% refund? Where it was under 100% non-refundable?
3. Why Yatra is not able to honour for the ticket issued by them?
Grievance;
We had last minute cancellation information which is confirmed after I call to yatra just before 4 hours of travel. It creates a lot of mess due to this me along my family goes in a headache and mental trauma.
I need a refund for all my travel arrangements along the cost for the suffering of my family due to this cancellation which will be a minimum worth of one Lakh Rupee of account credit.
