There are 30-31 day's in a month and 90days in a quarter but prepaid subscribers are provided with 28days and 84days validity which means subscribers have to recharge 13times in a year instead of 12times and have to lose almost one month because of 84days validity 90-6*4 =336 rules should be equal for all be it prepaid or postpaid but even after knowing everything TRAI and DOT are silent and even after writing to ministry of telecom on PGTRAI says it doesn't handle individual complaints if an individual can run a country why individual complaints can't be handled in India which is regarding 90% of prepaid subscribers who generate revenue for telecom and are being looted by telecom nobody takes any action for valid questions even telecom companies say validity is as per TRAI norms but on TRAI website it is not mentioned anywhere that prepaid subscribers should get 28days validity and now it has become more worse that telecom companies have launched forced recharge plans to boost ARPU where unused balance gets lapsed and still TRAI is silent

The call centres of Airtel as a practice sends alerts through SMSs 5 to 7 days in advance before the expiry date of validity of the on going package and if one to avoid the last date anxiety recharges few days in advance after receipt of the alert then Airtel don't account the validity still not exhausted from the previous package and just upload the validity period of the new package. Since the remaining validity period of the previous package is erased , the subscriber don't even get the facility for which he did make payment and Airtel makes a profit by cheating the customers on a regular basis.
It is not the practice followed by Jio. more
