Subject: Water connections - Chetan Vihar, Gopal Nagar, Najafgarh
Work relating to Laying Water Pipelines and New concrete roads is being carried out in Chetan Vihar since early 2019.
In course existing roads were Dug and Main Water pipelines were laid in entire colony.
Post digging roads, laying of concrete started without pulling out end connection from newly laid pipelines despite repeated requests and objection from Residents.
Several representations were made to Local MLA and other authorities, but it continued. Post a lot of efforts laying of concrete road was stopped after almost 50% of roads were covered with Concrete roads without pulling our water connections.
Now, End connections have been provided to the Houses on portion where concrete roads were NOT laid, but rest of the residents have not been provided the connections and contractor is citing inability in providing connections to remaining 50% houses since Concrete roads have been laid.
While, this is a classic example of sheer negligence and un-organized work to spent Taxpayers money, humbly request you to support with Water connections to entire Chetan Vihar without any Prejudice. more
