Planning for better future
To site a specific example, the case of renovating the railway platform may be considered.
In many cases it may be seen that the same are no longer in level with the railway coaches. In fact they fall well below the coach ends. As a result, people have to climb down the steps to deboard from the coaches.
This can be extremely hazardous since foot may slip with catastrophic consequences.
Most importantly no thought has been applied for the old and the infirm, for they would have great difficulty in negotiating an unnecessary few levels of step ladder to get off.
It's not known why this has been planned the way it's been done but responsibility fixing, fault correction is the order of the day not to mention again spending hard earned cash by the organization which could easily have been avoided with a little better planning.
