I booked 2 tickets on 20 april on happyfares via skyscanner. received only 1 PNR, 2nd tkt wasnt issued nor refund processed upto june after multiple followups. Confirm tkt was asked to cancel via email & call on 22 april ,for which received confirmation & "refund initiated" in email ,whatssapp fb twitter posts too with penalty of 12000/ which I agreed but REFUND WAS NEVER PROCESSED. 15 may happyfares called to ask if we were boarding flight on 16 may ??!! emails calls went unanswered for weeks . then excuses STARTED - ticket was not cancelled , PNR was active, after I started tagging happyfares on social media in JUNE am told via email ticket was non refundable -for ticket of May 16 that was cancelled on 22 april. though even ticket shows cancellation penalty 3000/ upto 72 hours !!!
WHY WASNT TICKET CANCELED WHEN ASKED TO ON 21 APRIL ? WHY WASNT I EVER TOLD BEFORE 16 MAY TICKET WAS NON REFUNDABLE? HOW WAS I GIVEN CONFIRMATION OF REFUND MULTIPLE TIMES ? LAST EXCUSE I CANNOT BOOK as a travel agent !! WHY DIDNT THESE REASONS COME IN BEFORE TRAVEL DATE ?i WOUDNT HAVE CANCELLED TICKET THEN & SURELY TRAVEL AGENT booking OR NOT HAPPYFARES WOULD HAVE HONOURED TICKETS AS PREVIOUSLY DONE SINCE they were GETTING BUSINESS . all these excuses come up only when we demand REFUND !!!!
