EPFO Office

I am presently not owrking.
I have 4 PF accounts created by different companies.
No UID is there.
previous employer is not ready to create UID for me.
My PF savings is lying dead for over 5 years.
Want suggestion to overcome this situation.

I also have similar problem, I've generated UAN account numbers & transferred/merged the previous PFs from previous employers into one. Now i'm working out of India, since, 1.7 yrs. I have uploaded all KYC documents, which are pending for approval from my previous employer, but, it doesn't seems coordinating in this matter at all. Even after reminding Hr department so many times, they didn't take any action in this regard. How to close my EPF account & transfer it to my bank account (I have already updated my bank account number & IFSC code in my UAN account). Now, to whom to reach for complaint? Nobody knows or only god knows. more

You first of all need to do some research to find your PF number, the EPFO office where your PF used to be deposited, then use EPFO website to first transfer all of them under present account, you can lodge a grievance on EPFO website, if nobody listen to you. Also post your complaint on consumer forum with your details, reach out the HR people of your past companies to find out your PF account number. Every employer has code, EPFO offices in every area has their own code, so you may try searching your employer code on EPFO website, their you can find most of the employer info. your PF account number is generally same as your employee id/number. You can generate your UAN number, using your mobile number & do entry of all previous employers in it & apply for Online transfer of PF accounts from them, UAN account gives you this feature, but, some employer maintains their own PF department & doesn't deposit your PF in EPFO, in such case you need to research for contacts of retirement department of company, you may try Linkedin to find links of relevant people, send them messages with accurate information, including your employee id number, date of joining & leaving, name, pan card number & Adhaar card number....etc. If they really willing to help you they can easily find your details using PAN card number. more
