Side Berth Woes
1. Shorter width of seat - both Upper & Lower as compared to the seats inside the bay
2. No amenities like: Mobile Charger point, water bottle holder and hook for hanging hand bags etc.
3. Same cost as berths in the bay.
Besides inconvenience to passengers of side berth due to co-passengers'movement.
Solution:
1. No.2 point above can be considered by providing the amenities.
2. No. 1, if cannot be considered due to change in the parameters, cost concession may be considered for such side berth passengers.
3. As far as possible Senior Citizens be allotted lower berth, inside the bay.
