Create 3 months of consumer awareness on tokenisation by RBI, payment gateways, banks and merchants so consumers get their cards tokenised before the deadline

Wait till 95% of banks and payment gateways are fully ready with integration with networks

Wait till there is a solution to handle existing card reward/loyalty programs with the tokenization system so users don’t lose existing points/rewards and continue to get credit for spends post tokenisation

Wait till there is a clear process to authenticate in case a user loses their device

Tokenisation should be implemented immediately and these issues should be fixed as they are identified
