The new 2023 tobacco warning rules require that all movies and shows with smoking scenes on OTT platforms have multiple anti-tobacco videos and static visuals inserted. Since content editing rights are only with movie producers, this could mean that older movies (Sholay, Deewar, Don, etc.) may have to be taken down. How should the Government implement this?
