पुरानी कार पर रोक नतीजा सिफ़र
दिल्ली में हज़ारों लोगों को वायु प्रदूषण कम करने के नाम पर अपनी 10 साल पुरानी डीज़ल और 15 साल पुरानी पेट्रोल कार चलाने से रोक दिया गया। कोरोना के तंगी काल में ये लोग अपनी अच्छी-भली कारों को औने-पौने दामों में बेच और नई कार ख़रीद कर EMI के जाल में फँसे। क्या इससे प्रदूषण कम हुआ? more

Each small step is important. We do not participate conciously so the courts step in. 1. phasing out diesel operated buses and small commercial vehicles. introducing CNG 2. Making highways around delhi to divert traffic meant for other states. 3. Odd even schemes. 4. phasing out older vehicles. (i support this, govt. does not have infra to check on case to case basis) Each step is painful for some of us. Some loose money, some even livelihood. but are essential for survival. What we have not been able to do 1. Crackers ban (shud be on all occassions) 2. Farm fires. more

If a car is functional and fulfils the test-conditions (if they exist in India), then its age should not be an obstacle. In European countries, for example, every new car is sent for functionality-test first after three years, then after every two years. As a result, even 25 year old cars are yet running on the roads, because they passed the "functionality-test". more

Our politicians and law makers do not maintain cars from their hard earned money. Therefore they can’t realize the pain of premature selling a well maintain car purchased with hard earned money with limited/fixed source of income. more

through new cars come with BIS V standards and can even use eco friendly ethanol fuel made from plant based fuels , hope this is only 1% of the other sources which are polluting like stubble burning construction dust loud noise from horns etc etc etc etc more
