राष्ट्रपति का भाषण
कुछ न्यूज़ चैनल्स पर यह समाचार चलाया जा रहा है कि स्वाधीनता दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर राष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि समाज को महिलाओं के प्रति संवेदनशील होना चाहिए. अगर यह सच है, तो पता नहीं किस समाज की बात वह कह रहे हैं. वह जो बढ़ में बह जाता है या सूखे की चपेट आ कर तबाह हो जाता है.
या फिर यह कह कर अपनी संवैधानिक जिम्मेदारी से बचना चाहते हैं. राष्ट्रपतिजी, आप देश के प्रमुख हैं. न्यायपालिका आप के आधीन आती है. तो फिर ऐसे नियम क्यों नहीं बनाये जाते कि न्यायपालिका का बोझ काम हो सके. उदाहरण के तौर पर झूठा साक्ष्य (परजुरी) कानून को सख्ती से लागू क्यों नहीं किया जाता. न्यायपालिका अपने फैसले केवल कानून के आधार पर ही क्यों नहीं सुनाती. अदालत की कार्यवाही कैमरा में (इन कैमरा) क्यों नहीं की जाती. यदि ऐसा किया जा सके तो, लंबित और अदालत तक पहुंचने वाले केसों में भारी कमी आ सकती है. इस से महिलाओं को न केवल शीघृ न्याय मिल सकेगा बल्कि अपराधियों के भी हौसले टूटेंगे.
पर शायद यह सब कर पाना संभव नहीं है क्योंकी ज़यादहतर अपराधी राजनीतिक खेमें से ही आते हैं.

But the silver line is hat the things are changing OR going to change. The Fast track Courts to be conducting the grave crimes of the very legislature is one of the step. Election, which is forth coming is another chance we can take. Our honesty will prevell more

Babudom often prevails over good leaders who really want to bring changes. This is due to the Quota system where inefficient people continue not just to hold on to their positions without fear but also block new initiatives and changes due to their old mental block. It is high time to rid our nation of caste based quota system and give development a chance by inducting able and capable work force. more

True. S.C. also in 1985 SC-1495 clearly, in detail, confined and Directed that : 1. The Reservation in favour of the SCs. and STs. must continue as at present that is, without application of a means test. for a further period of 15 years . Another 25 years will make it 50 from the commencement of the Constitution , a period reasonably long for these classes to overcome the baneful effect of social oppression , isolation and humiliation ;
2. the means test, that is, the test of economic backwardness ought to be applicable even to the SCs. and STs. after 15 years { after 2000 AD } ;
3. so far other backward classes are concerned two tests should be applied :-
a. that they should be comparable to the SCs. and STs. in the matter of their backwardness ;
b. that they should satisfy the means test such as the State Government may lay down, in the context of prevailing economic conditions ;
4. the policy of reservations in employment , education and legislative institutions should be reviewed every five years or so. This will afford an opportunity to the State to rectify distortions arising out of particular facts of the reservation policy .
There are other pertinent S.C. Judgments confining the need of Merit and notified in 1984 - 3 - SCC - 654 , that Merit consists of a high degree of intelligence coupled with a keep and incisive mind, sound knowledge of the basic subjects and infinite capacity for hard work and also calls for a sense of social commitment and dedication to the cause of the poor .
It is true that Skills shall not be ignored on any pretext of Class, Creed and Gender and is why S.C. in 1985 itself set a stopping period [2000 AD] justifying 50 years carry or Reservations. Nation and its majority people are already suffering seriously striving and even starving while Many Teaching Staff of Schools and Colleges are inadequate in Talented Teaching and Skill motivating Knowledge in their Teachings . more

Probably, it is the job of Legislature to cleanup Judiciary, which is sleeping on the subject matter. Or are hand in gloves with Judiciary because political parties need favours, for Politicians, from Judiciary. more

Will you personally go and do this Judiciary clean up, I wonder. You will need someone (babus and bureaucrats, I am sure are included) to do it most probably. These very guys on whose shoulder you appear to me to be placing your gun are determined to keep things unchanged. I hope we are clear now? more

Thanks Mam. More than Babus, it is the Judiciary that needs to be set right. Babus will automatically fall in line, if judicial system is leaned up. more
