The comfort and convenience for passengers are mandatory, not just earning with adding berths, then there is no difference between city bus and railway coach. more

When Lallu Prasad Yadav was the Railway minister he also made some experiments by adding an additional berth in between every pair of side berths putting the unfortunate passengers of those berths as also other passengers in lots of discomforts and problems. He was forced to abandon his foolishness after some time due to criticism coming in from all corners. The present ministry is also stepping in in the same shoes without using minds and taking lessons from past experience. Instead, the Railways should have thought of adding some additional comforts to the existing ones. more

Reduction is OK, but it should not be squeezed so much as to cause uncomfort. Like in Airlines many a seats are uncomfortable. Specially leg space. more
