Good, a debate is started and we will be called anti-national for suspecing the Defence of India. I had an opportunity to go through THE ACT what are coming under defence secret in USA. None of the sale of ammunitions, pricing or quantity comes under defence secret. More so, all the so called defence sale ammunitions, fighter jets and the proficiency are advertised in open market. So, secrecy act is not only redundant and misused or misinterpreted. It is only ten to twenty line descriptions are part of various acts. Even the French government can not hide the agreement, if it challenged in Rafale. Why not we collective think of ending this ruthless mance of corruption. Many times our soldiers do suffer, when the products are not war worthy. Every year we loose 80000 to 100000 crores in defence and out which 20 to 30% goes for modernising the weapons and dumping the old one as out dated. WHO IS GOING TO TELL THOSE IN POWER, THAT YOU ARE WRONG? We the people of India? more

Sir, you cant be called Anti national, but on the contrary, anti national are those who oppose cleansing of our defence procurements and defence forces. Because with corruption in procurement, we will get compromised equipment and hence our war fighting ability will get affected. We can not compromise on this. more

Apprehensions of corruptions in defence sector deals & contracts can not be rejected outrightly. Moreover, if anyone could recall 1962 Indo-China war, they will realise that Mr Kaul (a favorite & defence secretary of Nehru sitting in Delhi) sent PT cloth shoes to fighting forces on Assam border for snow cladded terrain and we lost many fighters. Similarly, Bofor and Kargil coffin deal is well known to every one. This confirms that such corruptions remained in system since independence. Only thing is that media never had been so strong before letting people to know about it and there had been no convictions to implement eradocation measure past 70 years. more
