Pls ,do not compare civilian employees with our nations brave Jawans. And regarding OROP, Let this scheme should be only for our ex servicemen.Railway or any other employees are not eligiable for this scheme as they are already enjoying very high pay&perks were our Ex service men are very low. Rgd's nair more
What sort of a comparison is this ? Let us not devalue the sacrifices by the armed forces. Ours is the only nation where the soldiers are slighted badly like this !! more
PM Modi has taken a very wise decision in agreeing to OROP in principle only. If Govt agrees to OROP for Defence, it will open up flood-gates of similar demands from all Govt Departments. I agree with Mr Arvind Kumar that OROP should only be for those make supreme sacrifice, be they be from Army, BSF or any other para-military force, CRPF, Police or any other Force. more
Government should come-up with better solution with in details on OROP and not leave anything in OROP policy to avoid any misuse or become political gimmick in upcoming election. Clarity in OROP so that other employee union should not go on strike for OROP. recently what happened in Bihar, All teachers appointed by Mukhiya or panchayat become the state government employee with pay scale. Genuinely believe 80% of all these teaches are not eligible for teaching since they cant write correctly one sentence in Hindi or in English. Even state government knows that still they gave state government employee status with pay scale, Central government should implement OROP with proper clause. more
