For all people seeking blood donors the best way is to go to internet asking for list of donors in the NCR etc. It is specially suitable for person needing platelet donors. It has been found all normal persons do not qualify to donate platelet unless she/he possesses 2.5 in the body. Lower limit of normalcy is 1.5. I had experience of getting only two donors out of 21 candidates. In the internet you get long list of dedicated donors. Call as many as you require. One more thing: once a donor found fit for giving platelet the same person can donate every after one week. more
