If we give lot time to take black money from foreign banks they will convert into white money in terms of foreign business this should be monitor with high priority. more
Dear Sandeep, Your idea of punishment without hearing may not be acceptable, as it would go against the principle of natural justice. You must hear his explanation. However any such enquiry must be concluded in 2 weeks time. I would suggest you read the site Arthakranti. There is no vat and no auctroy also. This would reduce burden of attempting to bring back black money. I think Govt. should very seriously study this proposal in "Arthakranti". RYK. This is not a suggestion to solve our economic problem. If this is really implemented there will be chaos. more
Yes, it makes sense but in the present scenario it seems impractical particularly when prices of almost all the commodities have gone so high. When we go to market to buy vegetables/fruits or ration for a week/month Rs.500 are not adequate. You cannot expect people to go to Malls for buying domestic stuff where they can pay via debit/credit card. Yes, in phases, we can achieve this goal. Withdrawing currency Notes of Rs,1000 and Rs.500/- will certainly help in controlling the black money and corruption. Further, why there is a need to triple the salary of ministers and their staff? Do you think by this action, we expect them to be honest. No, honesty comes from individuals' thinking, moral education and will. Even if it is implemented in phases, strict measures are a must. Good luck. Om Aneja more
