More we increase number of digital payment in daily life, less will be the need to carry cash. However, customer's/seller's payment should be protected from fraud. It is a question of habit with reliability on the system. more

The mode of payment is shifting from cash to digital- even local hawkers are accepting it. It will get built up with time if customer keeps his preference to digital payments - nobody will like to forego his sales/orofits just for sake of cash payments more

"must provide digital payment option to consumer" may be a good start. How will this be implemented, who will implement it, what are the checks and balances to ensure that it is implemented, what if it is not implemented. I may be playing the Devil's advocate, but just having rules and laws without the how and the subsequent penalities will make the rule irrelevant. more
