1) Roads vis a vis Potholes, 2) Farmers' Loan Wave

Hari Om! Pranam to all Respected Responsible Ministers n Officers in-charge.
1) Rods of Mumbai & other cities: Every crores of Ruppes are allotted & spent for repairing POTHOLES! Why not the same amount to be used for MAKING ROADS GOOD once for all?
It has been well known that there is huge SCAM in the contracting & repair execution! There are contractors have been black listed also. But what about the Officers who are also hand in gloves with them.
The money required afresh should be recovered from all concerned!
2) From where do we generate money to give loan to Farmers & the money lost by waving the LOANS?
Here also it is well known that there has been huge SCAM(thousands of Crores Rupees) in implementing the irrigation projects in drought effected parts of our MAHA-Rashtra! The People concerned - The Ministers, Officers & Contractors should be made to pay for the LOSS!
For all Scams happened Who are the sufferers? It is I & YOU dear Tax payers!
Jago!
Jai Hind! Jai Maharashtra! more

In social media a comment from very small country having a population of around 50 lakhs (max.) regarding India and corruption says - corruption has become culture of India and it can be found every where. None of us (the privileged citizens) feel ashamed of this. Rather, it appears, we take pride in continuing that culture as evidenced by large number of Govt. employees as well as people willingly get involved in it. When it is in our blood, how come roads will be away from that ? Unless roads are such which demands repeated repairs how come more budget will be available every year ? Unless the budget is available how more percentage will be available as commission for everyone in the value chain ? Latest example is :- crop insurance related forms and payments for insurance. A small span of few days is announced. In rural on line facilities are not available. Those who have charge exorbitantly. Even filling the form is a demanding business and charges in hundreds are levied. Above all long queues to deposit form and money demanding hours of standing in queue. Again corruption - making a payments of hundreds of Rupees to the agent (person known to Bank officials) for taking the forms and getting accepted in back date for regularization. Those in queue agitate for extension of date. Bank open on Sunday to shower a favour on common farmer. Some times farmer(s) die while in queue. To that some announcements are made. That's all. It is not pitiable ? Why not the system can duly plan and announce the dates and make available forms in advance ? Why not a duration of at least 15 - 20 days is declared in advance ? so that people can get forms, fill those and keep ready for deposition by due date. Elected representatives should spare their valuable time to come forward to serve as a link between Banks and farmers to facilitate smooth operation. But who cares for farmers. We feel elevated if we get an opportunity to talk about welfare of the farmers but not in acting in their favour. Is it not a type of corruption which the country should hate? more
Hari OooooM Tat Sat! You are absolutely right & it is the only truth! more
In our locality, Khar west, Mumbai, the roads have been widened and made quite nice, with good pavements, after acquiring land from established housing societies by forcibly demolishing their boundary walls. However the purpose of widening the roads and providing wide pavements is lost because shops have sprung up on the widened pavements and the traffic situation is chaotic. Meanwhile, the residents whose land has been forcibly acquired now have to construct a new boundary wall, costing lakhs of Rupees and suffer from a security threat as the new wall will be deep inside their building space, just below the balconies, making it easy to jump into a house. They are aggreived at being forced to this expense and security compromise, more so after the shops are taking over the pavement. At the very least, the shops should not be permitted on this road. more
Hari Om! 1) It is nice to know that roads have been well done, neat & clean! 2) If what is said about forcibly acquired land from HSG Socs & homes etc, If AdequateCompensation is not given by the Mun.Corporation,IT IS ABSOLUTELY WRONG! 3) If they have been compensated & had consented for acquiry by taking compensation, then what is the problem! Kuch pane ke liye Kuch khona bhi padata Hai! 4) The authorities should see that there is no encroachment of the road from shop keepers & vendors! Jai Hind! Jai Maharashtra! more

Looking at the plight of common Citizens the Court should take it on Suo Moto basis to punish the work/project related officer/s, worker/s, contractor/s, politician/s etc. All their properties (movable/immovable) should be confiscated immediately and only to be released, if found non-guilty. He / She should not enjoy the fruits of facilities, money earned etc. in illegal manner. The case should be settled in time bound period and not exceeding six months. This would help to increase responsibility/ies on an individual whoever he/she might be. Have serious thought on it. more
DURING THE FESTIVE SEASON ROADS ARE DI GEED OFF AND OUR SO CALLED LEADERS ALLOW THEM TO DO SO. in my opinion the best would be if U dig a road for any reason the repair charge will be from U as well from area corporate r. if not inspected IN TIME local office be penalized can we implement it IF yes then road condition will be good for a long time more
