100 crores for Vrindavan temple?

Yogi Government to spend Rs 100 crore to renovate Vrindavan's Banke Bihari temple, 9 ponds of Krishna-Radha tales.

Question I have is - is this the best use of public money in a state which has high unemployment, poor law/order and lack of health care.

Yes, a wrong priority. A state steeped in ignorance, poverty and obscurantism needs quality schools, medicare and vast opportunities for employment of its youth who grow up only to become vagabonds and vagrants. more

यह सवाल तब नहीं उठा जब हजारो करोण की हाथी लगा दी गयी ,तब भी नहीं उठा जब 456 करोण कब्रिस्तान पर लगा दिये गए और पिछले 65/70 वर्षों से तुष्टीकरण की राजनीति मे हिन्दू ही हिन्दू को मारता गया और यही आप कर रही है -तालाबों के सुधार पर उच्चतम न्यायालय का निर्णय आ चुका है और पहली बार तुष्टीकरण की राजनीति को छोड़ किसी अच्छे काम पर सार्वजनिक पैसा खर्च हो रहा तो तकलीफ क्यूँ ?JNU जैसे संस्थान को दी जा रही सरकारी सहाता जो आम आदमी के टैक्स से जाता है पर सवाल क्यूँ नहीं ?हिन्दुत्व कोई धर्म नहीं जीवन शैली है पर उसकी जड़ मे मंदिर है इसलिए हिंदुस्तान की जीवन शैली पर प्रहार ?? more

Sujata Ji your point is valid but In the context of U.P., Decesion of Yogi Govt. may be correct ,because Vrindavan is important place for tourist if the budget proposed will in right direction we will be able to attract more tourist & able to generate more revanue as well as employment , Example can be taken from South specially Hyderabad & surronding area e.g. Ramo ji film city generates good revenue & a cause for generating alliance project vis a vis Employment. But if it is like white Elephant then it is wastage of money as incurred by old Govt. in various project at Safai, Etawa benificial for a family only. But I am in a opinion for setting up industry in U.P. on Priority more
