11-year-old-schoolgirl-raped-killed-vellore

The brutal rape and murder of 11-year-old school girl in Vellore once again brings to the fore the question of children’s safety and effective awareness.

The number of young people committing sexual violence has increased and issues related to child abuse are reported extensively like never before.

I agree with Ramya's comments. That people are slowly getting used to these kinds of traumas and that this in psychological terms is known as desensitization. I guess, we need awaken the humanity within everyone. It's really high time to do so. People are now expressing their emotions & feeling without regulations & this is the result of those feelings & emotions expressed unregulated. The whole human culture is today endangered one needs to act now & fast. more
Problems happens like these as the offenders are pretty sure that they can evade legal implications either by themselves or through similar minded people around them as time passes by in our society. The only solution for all these is to have a total revamping of our laws and effect laws with severe punishment for such crimes. If in western countries, the legal system provides punishment for 20 years.. 30 years... and above, why can't we relook at our fundamentals. Its the right time, before its tooooo late. These kind of incidents are happening very often recently, that we are considering it as a daily incident and slowly stopping reacting to it . This is definitely very harmful for our society, but I don't think there is a separate local circle created for it. I am being in bangalore came across 2 such brutal incidents that happened inside school premises itself. The emotional protests completely faded and the schools where these happened are re-opened. Are the culprits who were responsible for such incidents punished? What is happening to them? It is not brought to public notice by media. more
I am quite astonished and shocked as well....are we idiots, blind or still a sheeps in the herd. .We have a lot of time to post to show our talents etc for swachh bharat. .don't we have any sensible attitudes towards the problem of nation.... saw this post and there is no replies as all of us are only interested in replying for swachh bharat only...neglected all the other issue. ....I m here to promote swachh bharat but that doesn't mean I will neglect all other issues. ..so have sense my dear brothers. ...Some girl has lost her life more
