198 petrol pumps in UP cheating customers

It should be displayed through leading News Paper alongwith Name of Petrol Pump Owner so that they should be defamed in the Society. Also officers concerned responsible for not checking those petrol pump time to time also be punished so that other may get a lession more

Why would it? Has Modi made public the list of people with Swiss Bank accounts, his major election promise? Licences for controlled commodity go to the rich & powerful- those very people who fund and support election campaigns. So the nexus is obvious. Everyone in the common professional circle knows every other person's integrity or otherwise. So do the politicians, film industry people, businessmen & gangsters. Look at some news excerpts in this regard which will make government's approach evident:- 1.At the end of May, the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court rapped the state for being lenient towards owners of petrol pumps involved in the scam. It asked why the government was only sealing individual fuel dispensing units that were found to be rigged, and not the entire petrol pump. It also asked the government to make public the names of the fuel outlets found to be cheating their customers. 2.The UP Special Task Force’s (STF) probe into the multi-crore fuel scam in UP has raised a question mark over the working of petrol pump owners, authorities of oil companies, weights & measures department and others. “The connivance of authorities, field officers and other agencies concerned cannot be ruled out when such malpractices are prevalant on such a large scale,” admitted Amit Pathak, SSP of STF. Citing an example, a senior STF official said Satyam Filling Station in Vibhuti Khand was found dug up when the STF team carried out a raid there on Sunday night. The probe revealed that pump owner Pankaj Seth applied for maintenance and renewal on April 28, only few a hours after the STF began a crackdown on petrol pumps. He said the authorities concerned granted him permission on the same day itself. 3. Eyebrows were raised on the transfer of the SSP of UP's Special Task Force, Amit Pathak, on Tuesday to Gorakhpur as SSP at a time when he is involved in the cracking of the inter-state petrol pump chip scam.
