State Bank of India sends u a message (SMS) your balance as on so and so date is ......... and deduct Rs. 15/- for this SMS. Is such a fair business practice allowed by Reserve Bank of India?
Have you checked your statement reflecting deducting of Rs. 15/- per quarter irrespective of the fact whether you have done any transaction or not. Would request for your feedback. more

Banks are resorting to all types of illegal practice. It should be taken to reserve Bank Of India. more

It is good that you are raising your voice for this . it comes under un fair practices of the main bank of India and we should raise our voice against it. I am with you. more

Sir, your point is well taken. In case the bank gives us (as a facility to customers despite RBI/MOF directions) an option to accept or not to accept the charging, don't you think it is fair. Then it will be our choice (as some customers would like to know the account balance without going to bank/ATM). more
