Sir, it is not only medicine, various tests that are to be done every six months also cost very high and there is no relief for senior citizens who no or meager source of income. Surprisingly electrophoresis and immunofixation tests that are done are 50percent more expensive in India. Some pathologists have made it into a big business along with hospitals and there is no where we can ask for help. more

Dear Sunita , I am a throat cancer surviver. I have been going for ENT check up regularly.But i am told that a reoccurance can emerge anywhere, not confined to throat. The only way i am told is to go for PET/CT scan to be sure. During my treatment apart from CT scan (3times) PET/CT (once) i also underwent Radiation therepy for 33 days.Pl tell me if there is any other way of detection other than radiation.This request is addressed to all who can throw some light on it.My mob is 9818081363 more
