Our parents seek jobs for their ward and our education system has been preparing them for it only. Why every seeks job? Where is entrepreneurship among our youth. Let us all draw a list of business which a youngster can start. Govt has already announced policy guidelines for start up business. Recently I came across a book " Whale of a time with Social Media " available on Amazon. It is a good for those planning to start a business. Youth can form a co-operative society to start i) Farm Equipment repair work shop n rural area, ii) Set up Warehouses for storage of food grain by farmers, iii) Take up marketing of food grains, iv) Set up small cold storage for vegetables and fruits, v) Start a cleaning agency, vi) Operate a Sulabh like organisation, so on and so on depending on their skills. more

There was a criminal negligence by the previous Governments on the Education System in this country. All the Educational Institutions have become corrupt and purely commercial and producing unskilled and semi-skilled graduates . This is one reason for unemployment ! The other one is the lack of sincerity in some Corporate Sectors who have taken Lakhs of crores of Rupees as Bank loans in the name of Industries / SEZs and misused money and infrastructure. more

What is the point in keep cribbing about the past. I guess all governments, past or present are equally responsible for this criminal mess. The current Skill India program is the best example of wasting funds and forgetting the objective hidden behind the slogans. Till date the program has only met the objective of wrongfully putting money into politicians' pockets, who run all the so called institutes. The job avenues in Govt. and private sector are decreasing day by day whereas the the number of unemployed is increasing at a alarming rate in proportion to increase in population. Due to over expansion during the last 15 years, the industrial growth is virtually nil. Due to steep increase in the salaries public sector, the Govt. is not in a position to recruit more people. Many departments are resorting to contract employment. Even gazetted officers are offered a salary of Rs.10,000 -19000/- whereas regular class III employees are getting more than Rs.60,000/- p.m. Due to vote bank politics, the Govt. of the day is bound to revise salaries, DA, perks.privileges and pensions of all members of Govt. Machinery without linkage to performance. The Govt. should offer more & more employment at affordable salary without waiting for uprising as ever increasing employment/population will add fuel to fire. more
