I am quite surprised how people derive private gain out of public property. While going to or coming back from the University of Delhi, travelling through kamla nagar/roop nagar is nightmare. People park their vehicles in multiple rows which often touch median to buy bedmi puri from Gopal Sweets or buy their sarees from couple of odd shops on the main road. As a result private convenience of some individuals results in great pain and torture of public. This traffic pile up is a common site everyday, yet it goes unnoticed by traffic police. The fuel burnt and loss of time and opportunity for hapless people who have to negotiate is far more than the convenience for a few shoppers. This is an example of how state failure which chooses to ignore by design or default injustice done to common citizens. The traffic police must start pasting tickets on wrongly parked vehicles instead of using cranes. more

Police department is totally corrupt but we people are educated then why not resposible for each and every law and order themself only more
Corruption driven by politicians then move downward to IAS. IPS. then below government personal.....if political want to remove corruption they can do same within a day more
Whatever the handicaps like shortage of parking space or abundance of traffic, the fact remains that due to jams at such places, we are losing umpteen number of man hours, precious fuel and increase in pollution levels. National Green Tribunal has already directed such vehicles to be challaned for Rs. 1000 each. But no directions from any court have any effect on Delhi Police whose duty is that the vehicles don't remain parked on roads obstructing free traffic. more
Problem is corrupt Traffic Police. more
