3rd milk price increase this year

Amul had again hiked prices of Amul Buffalo milk variants by Rs 2 in all states except Gujarat. This is the 3rd price hike by Amul in 2022 after it hiked milk prices in August & March

Now all milk companies will follow and the Govt will be a mook spectator watching its citizens get squeezed.

This localcircles survey last month said one third have downgraded their milk purchase. Now what will happen - Another one third will downgrade.

There is huge demand for milk. The cost of all items is increasing which is forcing dairy owners to increase price of milk. An employees retired 22 years back at a pension of Rs.15,000.00 is now getting a pension of Rs.1,25,000.00 per month - an increase of over 800%. Where the farmers or other have nots should go ? more  
When employees get increment it's their right. When a diary farmer asks for more money some complains. How can anyone expect prices to remain same for the years to come. more  
I fully be agree with Rohini Bhat. We are be still living in am old mindset, which needs to be changed. If someone doesn't agree with Rohini Bhat, he needs to rare a cow or a buffalo? more  
WE can complain against the Government, but the Govt does not produce milk. Milk is produced by Farmers and they need to earn ore money. Further, the increase in processing costs and transportation costs increases and o milk price has to be increased. How many people who are complaining did not get increments and promotions and higher salary over the past months? more
