4 hospitals to treat poor free
Moolchand, St Stephen’s, Sitaram Bharatia and Rockland hospitals in Delhi per Supreme Court ruling will now have to treat poor patients for free as they are built on subsidised land.
All other hospitals built on subsided land should also be held accountable. more

THERE ARE MANY MORE HOSPITALS LIKE ESCORTS, APOLLO, SUNDER LAL JAIN HOSPITALS ETC. THESE HOSPITALS ALSO FALL IN THE SAME CATEGORY AND HAVE BEEN BUILD ON SUBSIDIZED LAND. DELHI GOVERNMENT SHOULD COME UP WITH CLEAR CUT RULES AND DECIDE ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN ON THE MANAGEMENTS FOR NOT GIVING SUBSIDIZED HEALTH CARE TO THE POOR. more

The Escorts, Apollo, AIIMS are meant for VVIP's and Ministers so the Center as also all political parties would be only too happy not to dilute the Hospital's efficiency hence these have been left out though they were built on DDA Land and had given undertaking for Undertaking Free treatment for certain percentage of poor. more

Infact, all services practiced from subsidized land should have this concession. Best would be to run hospitals on a cooperative basis OR public share holding companies!! more
