4 months and run around by employer for PF refund
Mid november my documents were received by the company and it is yet to be forwarded to the PF dept. When asked they keep giving excuses and the latest reason mentioned is that due to some accounting work the dept. has stopped accepting claims and will resume by 2nd week of April. Need advise please. more

Mrr Jaswinder first of all find out with your company whether they have a separate PF Trust, if so , no need to submit the application to EPFO for Provident Fund accumulations. However, for employee pension, form-10D has to be submitted to EPFO. Recently EPFO have developed a consolidated from replacing, Form-10C, 11 and 19. In case your organisation does not have a separate trust, then your application for Pension Fund refund has also to be submitted to EPFO duly signed by the authorised person of the organistion, who is generally either HR or Finance representative looking after PF administration. For knowing the which PF Office, your application has been forwarded, you can find it out from your annual statements or on your payslip, where the PF code along with your account is mentioned. Anyhow, whenever you make a correspondence to EPF0, it will be very difficult to get any reply from them. You first ask your employer when they submitted and the reference of covering letter. more

My office is in Delhi and Head Office in Mumbai fron where all the processings are done. Now since all my documents are forwarded to Mumbai office i dont know which pf office will it be forwarded. I have written a mail to my HR seeking information. It becomes very difficult to follow up with the office in a different geograhical location. more

Write to the PF office with copy to labor minister. Mention it clearly "CC: Labour commissioner and Labor Minister below. That is what I had done while asking for the status. more

Hi, Did you check with the department is that so? Further, if your employer is dodging from submission of your claim form for four months. Then you can get in touch with Enforcement officer of your company.(who is in PF department check with your company registration number at pf office) Lodge a complaint so that the employer will automatically submit your form for processing.
