let us not be naive. Omicron is spreading fast but the public and authorities are not serious. more
This is not the time to be stubborn. NEET PG counselling must start immediately and Doctors strike be called back so that Delhi has it's doctors ready for another battle with Covid. more
WHAT WENT WRONG: 1. The Central govt. despite having knowledge of Omicron outbreak did nothing to stop international flights. People from UK were coming to India to attend WEDDING CEREMONIES and SPREADING COVID. Atleast now flights to be stopped. WB Govt. has taken the step on its own now to suspend flights to Kolkata. 2. SDMC needs to close down all parks and public places like under its jurisdiction. ASI needs to do the same for its sites. Morning walkers to use their respective terraces or do yoga at home in privacy. 3. State Govt to shut down Zoo and other public places under it's jurisdiction. Eg. Delhi haat, Exhibitions, Events etc. Good that schools colleges coaching centres spas gyms already shut down. 4. Physical hearings in courts to be suspended and online mode be started. 5. WFH for offices. 6. Dead malls in Delhi to be converted into spaces for Free Covid Testing Centres. Clear communication regarding free covid test sites as well as Covid treatment hospitals via newspaper ads. 7. Distribution of Masks along with challans by Delhi Police and Home Guard. more
I think this data needs to be re-checked and corrected. As per the DD News the figures are different. Further, the total number of infect persons is not only on account of OMICRON, but also includes Delta Variant of Covid 19. This may please be confirmed. more
@seema Though this is a good info. But your post is misrepresenting facts. You are quoting only part of the report about number of infections. See: Deaths 0 Most cases Asymptotic/or mild Hospital admissions 200 On ventilator 0 Severe 0 On oxygen 55 Don’t create 🙀 ! Follow Covid19 protocols. You can’t control others. TC of yourself and your near and dear ones. more
