4th dose on the cards - do we have it right

Israel is planning for FOURTH doses of COVID vaccines which is ridiculous

If you're aiming to eliminate all breakthrough infections, you'll keep reboosting and reboosting and reboosting.

Elimination of all breakthrough infections should NOT be the goal.

Can we in India afford to have 4 doses of the vaccine? Urgent need to rationalise all of this.

We keep on debating about vaccine doses to protect against such viruses but there is never a healthy discussion about strengthening our natural immunity; it will be more fruitful if the government spent some effort on educating the people on how to take care of their health and strengthen the immunity. more
Get your second dose first if the first dose is already taken and let all our people get vaccinated with the second dose. If necessitated, of course we have to and we can afford for the subsequent doses. How many of us could thought a year back that our nation can afford for two free doses for our 1350 million people? more
Spanish flu went out without vaccination. It happened because people understood as to how is spreads and took care. Unfortunately, in 21st century with a lot of knowledge about the virus and the way it spreads and even with vaccination, it is still amongst us. Only reason, too many with 'I don't care attitude'. Because of them, we will have to continue to wear the mask and take precautions. It may be that pharma companies are hand in hand with labs reporting that the efficacy of the vaccines vane with passage of time, a few months, which is making the governments to go in for more doses of them. more
Let the Govt. first give 2 dozes to all citizens. Thereafter, decide depending upon the situation. I feel there will be no need for 3rd doze if we follow covid appropriate behaviour religiously throughout the country. more
