5% have deleted Whatsapp; 22% have reduced usage

Thanks to all who participated on the Whatsapp Privacy issue survey. 5% of you said that you have deleted Whatsapp while 22% have reduced usage. Best of all - A high majority said that you will refrain from using whatsapp for chat with business accounts and for payments as that is where Whatsapp is saying that the data will be shared with Facebook and third parties. Below is the link to the survey report:

Business and Banking Circles MUST BE SEPARATE From general Members more
As the social media like facebook, whatsapp, twitter etc. are free, many people are wasting their time and energy in sending messages, without any restrain. It will be proper, if social media charge something. more
I believe europeon union countries and Singapore have public information protection policies in place. That's why WhatsApp can't do anything there. The same law should be introduced in India also to save us from WhatsApp intrusion on individual data or ban them altogether in our country similar to what the Govt. did for chinese apps. We can then encourage citizens to shift from WhatsApp to other similar platforms like 'Signal' or 'Telegram'. Local Circles are requested to take member's opinion on the subject. more
I am surprised at our community. Firstly you are getting the service for free. Secondly you are not forced to use it if you do not like. Whatsapp has right to manage it the way they want. So please friends and foes please note: 1) The biggest mistake Whatsapp has done is given you stuff for free. So please instead of wasting time and talking about privacy quitely exit and go away. 2) For what purpose do you Whatsapp? For fun and games. For chatting and entertaining yourself. Then what privacy are you talking. You are not doing billion dollar business. Then why so much hue and cry? 3) I feel if all these users who are shouting leave whatsapp it will reduce load on internet and other serious users can be benefitted. 4) last but not the least. It is said in USA nothing comes for free. So if you do not like Whatsapp policy please delete your account and go away to Himalayas. more
Social media again to be blamed for all this frenzy. more
