5 women raped daily in Delhi
People are raping people that they know. What is it? False allegation? Broken Love? Stalking? How do the CM Delhi Police Chief plan to solve this situation or do they not care?
More than five women were raped every day in the national capital in the first three and a half months this year, according to the Delhi Police statistics.
The police claimed that in 96.63% of the rape cases reported last year, the accused was known to the victim.
According to the data, 578 rape cases were reported to the police till April 15 this year as against 563 in 2017 during the same period.
The police attribute the rise in numbers to the speedy registration of cases.
However, the statistics showed a decline in the number of molestation cases reported this year.
In 2017, as many as 944 cases of assault on women were reported till April 15, while 883 cases were reported this year during the same period, according to the data.
In 2017, 2,049 rape cases were reported as opposed to 2,064 in 2016.
As many as 3,273 molestation cases were reported last year as compared to 4,035 in 2016, according to the statistics. more

Very miserable situation of the society and people particularly men's thought and activity . Society is the main culprit and secondly our judicial system including police are more responsible and accountable as hard punishment or death sentence are not given , hence such crime is not stopped . Time has to come to self fight without hope from society and police and judicial system which are very corrupt and careless . All persons has not feeling and sense of other pains . more

One event where gold, silver and bronze, all go to India is rape and murder of girl child. But of rape cases of adolescents and adults where rapists are known to the victim can be drastically reduced when laws of nature are not made fun of in the name of being socially correct. Man and woman are different and have been created for reprocreation. There is no platonic love or friendship. Its acceptance is a must the world over by the society at large, otherwise there is no dearth of such filth. It is just that there aren't many Lady Gaga's to acknowledge the bitter truth more

I feel in our all enactments/ amendments of women laws so far,, no one has addressed the problem of misuse of laws to implicate the innocent persons. There have been cases being reported in print media about impiicating any men for gains. The men falsely implicated for ulterior motives in fact feels of having been raped by the system, media etc as gang rape on him. Unless and until the system ensures punishment to the fake accuser, the rape statistics would keep on rise. While we do not expect any system to be changed as the basic system itself is corrupt, at least the intellectual class must consider all aspects to be included in the system. Lets not make it as a story of "wolf and shepherd". Why the people do not demand for same level of punishment to the fake accuser, is not being understood. It implies that we do want to promote check and balance on false alarming of rapes which indirectly leads to believe that we are plagued with rape hysteria. more

BETTER POLICING, PUBLIC AND SOCIAL AWARENESS AND TOUGH QUICK PUNISHMENT CAN RESOLVE THE PROBLEM VERY QUICKLY. RECENTLY IN DUBAI A PERSON WAS CAUGHT AFTER RAPING A MINOR. THE COURT ORDERED TO KILL HIM IN PUBLIC BY SHOOTING AND HANGING HIS DEAD BODY FROM CRANE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. THE CULPRIT WAS BROUGHT IN THE CENTER OF CITY. THE POLICEMEN SHORT HIM DEAD WITH MULTIPLE BULLETS AND HANGED HIS BODY FOR DISPLAY. SUCH PUNISHMENTS WILL HAVE VERY LONG TERM EFFECT. NO BODY WILL EVER THINK OF RAPING EVEN IN DREAMS. more
