51% citizens cutting spending due to rising petrol diesel prices

Prices of LPG are impacting our poor big time.

Seven hikes in 3 months has taken LPG prices up by Rs 175

The poor were anyway finding it hard to refill their Ujjwala scheme cylinders. Now they say it is near impossible. I have heard this from both my house help and driver.

This should also be escalated and it not addressed will lead to economic impact soon. more

The time has come when every one has to think, how to reduce the sufferings of the common man. What both Centre and State Govts can do. Similarly what a Common Man can do. There has to be certain Hard decisions that has to be implemented and not the mud slinging being done by Politicians and even the Common Man. Even the agitations of so called Agri issue has to be done away with. It is nothing but farce created by Lobbies and not the Kisans. One has to understand that negative activities will not take us anywhere, on the contrary it is going to harm common citizens as well as Country as a whole. more
The government should come out with a white paper on petroleum price and the reason behind the same. more
We want free vaccines, free food distribution, etc, so how government will get the money for all the expenses? by increasing taxes. Farmer agitation, is also putting burden on government finances, similarly, elections which is a very costly affair. But with all this MLA's and MP's , judges etc do not want their luxurious perks to be reduced. more
What does this government want? Is it really for the poor? Then why does it spend crores on the space programme when there are no benefits at all. Why are they sucking us dry, why are they so against the common man and are only there for filling their coffers. I am teaching my grandchild history and cried when I read about the sacrifices made by our heroic forefathers who fought so staunchly for freedom. Now I ask, freedom from what???? more
Central Govt. is taking 18 % GST on petroleum products & out of that they are returning the state shares to each & every state. See Opp. leaders of Maharashtra Speech in assembly. But State is charging their tax / duty separately to feed their MLA / Corrupt Babus which no body knows. Also Peoples should take EV instead Petrol / Diesel . CNG is option. Some peoples will cry loudly But when they will visit Mall , Hotel, Restaurant , Bar , Wine Shops then this arguments will die or make suicide. more
Walking may be good for health, but awakening to reality and correcting as we move along, better. Diesel still cheaper than petrol, despite being more polluting. Even Mr. Nitin Gadkari, minister for highways, spoke about how diesel has increased pollution. Car manufacturers okay, seeing the high car sales, mostly powered by diesel. Not continuing along the path that keeps them in power, but adapting a must, which is governments prerogative, through fiscal measures. more
