This was indeed bound to happen. The residents of Delhi have become lax and do not wear masks and probably no question of maintaining distance and washing hands. Further the CM, Kejriwal has a lot of money available to spend on long long TV advertisements, several times a day and on practically all major TV channels. Where is the money left to do work for fighting Covid? Still people of Delhi feel that he is the ideal CM? Well they surely deserve him. more

Yes, it's worrying. But at least they are reporting honestly and warning people. Thyrocare MD has publicly stated that some state Govts are pressurizing them not to test and not to report positive cases to the ICMR. I think figures from UP / Maharashtra / WB / Bihar are hugely fudged on the lower side. It may be due to politics / elections. more

Yes indeed, this galloping growth in Delhi is very alarming particularly when most other States are showing a declining trend. Needs urgent Prime Time discussion on major TV channels with top medical experts dealing with the control of Delhi's Covid-19 so that we can see where we are headed. Perhaps Local Circles can ensure such discussions immediately. more
