Police inaction in Gurgaon
Yesterday, my car was hit by a rash taxi driver in Gurgaon near to Artemis Hospital, and I telephoned the police control room ( tel 100) four times from my mobile requesting them to please come to the accident site. I was promised that the PCR will reach shortly, however, no one reported at the accident site even after one hour waiting in the sun.
Do we have any means to address this issue and the errant police officer be taken to task. Had there been a serious injury, what could have happened, - only God knows. more

We should have a alternate number from police commissioner so that we can contact them if their staff is not responding. They can take action at the same time when somebody is needy urgently. Time is main factor to redress the grivences or reducing the crime. We can solve or avoid many problems by taking timly action. There is no use of medicine if it was not given when it was required. more

Mr. Brij Gupta, there is law of land. You need not be scared if you are right. send a mail to police commissioner giving details and seeking time as well. For sure you will get a response. No one will harass you. It is because we are scared of such harassment, we do not report and suffer more. For your benefit, I am giving you the e mail id. Prem ji, I have called police control room 100, four times from my mobile and as per your advise, I have to submit a written complaint to Police Commissioner - please tell where and let me know what is the guarantee that I will not be harassed by the police later on due to this action from my side and then they will start coming to my house at every odd time and questioning me - since now the site evidence is not there. more

First step first. All 100 calls are recorded. There is evidence and they have to respond, If not they will be taken to task. Suggest inform Police commissioner in writing and await a reply. If no response proceed to press, only people they fear. Dr.P.N.Kakar more
