Transparency is a step towards curtailment of corruption. The more it is transparent, the less the chances of corruption. Corruption in any department otherwise is a burden on a common citizen and if we say on a consumer will not be out of context.
Why not CPWD/PWDs are directed to place the details of their purchases on the public domain. It is more so necessitated that PWDs are providing their services to all Govt. departments and the corruption in PWDs makes a significant impact on all govt. departments ultimately it affects all consumers more so because of there is a very thin line between citizenship and consumerism.
Similarly we also demand that the purchases/rate contracts of DGS&D are also mandatory to be put on public domain. more

Mr. Virmani- dgs&d rate contracts are already available on their web site. For your information dgs&d rates have cushion of 15- 20 % margin which they pay to ddos. more
