This process of trying out, learning from it, and improving upon the vaccine should be considered as one which shall not see the end all that soon. Because, it is a learning phase, even for the medics and medical researchers. Advisable therefore to be prepared to combat the situation when it arises. And let's not overlook the proverb that "hope lasts till the end of life"..... more
It seems vaccination is going to be a continuous process. What one needs is a medicine to cure the disease. And I guess that is going to happen soon. more
Yes ofcourse. There may be vaccinae s for the varients too to be protective . more
Thanks to Mr Chandhok for updating on further vaccination. more
We will never be vaccinated 100% at this rate, let us not forget the revaccination in around 1 year time because the validity of the vaccine is around one year only. more
Number of new vaccines are going to be launched in the coming 2 or 3 months. The existing two manufacturers have been given financial grants by GOI to increase their production capacity. I am optimistic that we shall see a big coverage by this year end. Remember, booster shots have to start in few months! more
In a way you are right, but that not what I meant. I think the efficacy of these two shots will diminish over the next year and a further booster shot may need to be applied, which may even be another vaccine, more upto date against the viruses prevalent at that time. It is possible that like the flu-shot this may become an annual dose for many people.

We are in for a long fight. more
I believe second shot was a booster shot which is being already given, If there is going to be some other booster shot, I would be grateful know about it. more
